Sustainable Forestry Development Enabled by New Quality Productive Forces

  • With its high efficiency, high quality, green and low-carbon characteristics, the new quality productive forces have injected new vigor and momentum into the sustainable development of forestry. Combining the new quality productive forces and sustainable forestry development to explore the feasible path. Firstly, through the literature review, the theoretical characteristics and potential role of new quality productive forces in the sustainable forestry development, as well as the importance of sustainable forestry development are revealed. Secondly, it collates and analyses the current challenges facing the sustainable forestry development. Finally, based on the theoretical foundation and the realistic examination of the sustainable development of forestry, it puts forward the feasible paths for the new quality productive forces to empower sustainable forestry development: (1) strengthening the innovation kernel of the new quality productive forces and injects the new power of the sustainable development of forestry; (2) Building a solid talent foundation for new quality productive forces and providing primary resources for sustainable forestry development; (3) Strengthening technological integration of new quality productive forces to protect resource endowments for sustainable forestry development; (4) Developing new productivity according to local conditions and improving the infrastructure for sustainable forestry development; (5) Highlighting the leading role of innovation in new quality productive forces, improving the institutional mechanism for sustainable forestry development, accelerating the cultivation of new productivity in forestry, and advancing the sustainable forestry development in China.
