Abstract
The study uses a questionnaire survey to examine the influence of villagers’ ecological culture perceptions, taking the ecological culture village in Beijing as a typical case. The study revealed that in terms of agroforestry business indicators, rural forestry business in the mountainous areas surveyed is still in a relatively backward state of single-family operation;and residents generally believe that the factors contributing to this phenomenon are insufficient policy support, which also affects the willingness of farmers to take the lead in setting up cooperatives. The study also found that the income composition of rural residents is still dominated by income from agriculture and forestry, and they have some knowledge of financial measures such as bank loans.Using stepwise regression analysis, the study concluded that the key factors influencing residents’ perceptions of ecological culture are:willingness to develop forestry cooperatives, forestry operating expenses, bank loans and forest land area. Finally, suggestions were made to improve farmers’ co-operative management and to promote financing capacity in response to these influencing factors.
