The Impact of Carbon Trading on Agricultural Green Total Factor Productivity——Based on the Dual Perspective of Carbon Sinks and Carbon Emissions

  • Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China (excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2000 to 2021,this paper used the SBM-GML index to calculate the agricultural green total factor productivity of each province. Besides,it analyzed the impact of carbon trading policies on China's agricultural green total factor productivity from the dual perspectives of carbon emission and carbon sink by using a multi-period differential model, and it also used PSM-DID model to test the results. The results showed that carbon trading policies had a significant promoting effect on agricultural green total factor productivity growth;Carbon emission trading policy could significantly improve agricultural green total factor productivity in the eastern, central and western regions, and the improvement effect was more significant in the eastern and western regions. Then, according to the research conclusion,it put forward some inspirations and reflections from the perspective of agricultural carbon reduction and agricultural carbon sink.
