Research on the Impact of Digital Financial Inclusion on the Green Development of Agriculture

Based on China’s provincial panel data from 2011 to 2021,this paper used entropy weight method to construct a comprehensive evaluation index of agricultural green development to measure the level of agricultural green development in each province,and empirically tested the impact and mechanism of digital financial inclusion on agricultural green development.The results indicated that digital financial inclusionand its three dimensions all had significant positive promoting effect on agricultural green development,and the coverage breath had the strongest promoting effect on agriculture green development. Digital financial inclusion enhanced the level of green agricultural development by stimulating agricultural technological innovation. Compared with the central and western region,digital financial inclusion had a more significant promoting effect on green agricultural production in the eastern regions.Therefore,this article proposed to orderly promote the development of digital financial inclusion,encourage innovation in agricultural technology,promote regional coordinated development,and fully leverage the empowering role of digital financial inclusion in agricultural green development.
