Analysis of the Impact of Green Investment on Green Growth——An Empirical Analysis Based on Provincial Data in China

This paper used the entropy method to measure the green growth level of Chinese mainland 30 provinces (excluding Tibet) from 2009 to 2020,and it constructed a systematic GMM model to study the influence of green investment on the green growth level.It found that green investment had no significant effect on green growth.The role of different types of green investment on the level of green growth was significantly heterogeneous.Non-productive green investment in environmental protection had no significant effect on green growth,while productive green investment had a promoting effect on green growth.Therefore,differentiated measures should be implemented for different types of green investment,and the transformation and upgrading of green industries should be coordinated to achieve green growth.
