The Influence of Ecology and Culture on the Development of Urban Green Economy——Taking Suzhou City as An Example

The development of urban green economy should promote the protection and sustainable utilization of its natural resources and biodiversity.This paper focused on the two key elements of a green economy: biodiversity and culture.It found that the cities could more easily identify patterns suitable for local sustainable economic development by strengthening the link between natural resource use and the local traditional characteristics.It put forward the following suggestions aiming at further promoting the economic development of Suzhou,which including broadening the new ideas of forestry use,using the sustainability and biodiversity of forest,maintaining the balance of supply,distribution and demand.
