Abstract:
This study employs Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) with panel data from 31 provincial administrative regions in China spanning 2020—2024 to measure provincial forestry GTFP. The results demonstrate significant regional differentiation and gradient evolution characteristics in forestry GTFP across China, with eastern regions leading, central regions steadily improving, and western regions lagging. Subsequently, the study utilizes Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) to explore the configurational paths through which digital village construction enhances forestry GTFP, summarizing three driving models: “technology integration + human empowerment,” “infrastructure-led + localized innovation,” and “data-driven + management optimization + human support.”
