Abstract:
This artide systematically reviews the preliminary practices of forestry carbon tickets, forest ticket systems, carbon sequestration pledge financing, and regional trading mechanisms in Guangxi, analyze the key issues that hinder the development of forestry carbon finance in Guangxi, such as insufficient supply of top-level systems, lack of carbon sequestration trading markets, inadequate pricing mechanisms, lagging innovation in financial products, and weak professional talent and measurement monitoring systems. We propose policy recommendations from four dimensions: institutional improvement, market cultivation, financial innovation, and capacity building. These include building a carbon management system for the entire region, accelerating the establishment of a unified trading platform, deepening the financialization reform of forest carbon tickets, and promoting the construction of carbon background investigation and scientific research platforms. These recommendations aim to promote the realization of the value of ecological products and provide path support for Guangxi's forestry industry to achieve high-quality and sustainable development under the “dual carbon” goal.
