Abstract:
This study examines the nine prefecture-level cities in Jilin Province, constructing separate indicator systems for new urbanization and rural revitalization.Using the panel entropy method,a coupling coordination degree model, and grey relational analysis,it investigates the spatio-temporal characteristics and influencing factors of the coordinated development between the two systems from2013 to 2022.The results indicate that:(1) The levels of new urbanization and rural revitalization in Jilin Province have generally increased year by year, with the pace of rural revitalization significantly outstripping that of urbanization;however, substantial regional disparities persist.(2) Regions with higher GDP,such as Changchun and Jilin City, exhibit a higher degree of coupling coordination between new urbanization and rural revitalization.Overall, the coupling coordination degree in Jilin Province shows an upward trend, with policy benefits becoming more apparent after 2017 and regional gaps gradually narrowing.By 2022,the average coupling coordination degree reached 0.697,with Changchun City entering a stage of high-quality coordination.(3) Infrastructure level and industrial structure are identified as primary influencing factors, while government regulation and economic drivers serve as secondary factors.Accordingly, strategies such as optimizing the urban-rural spatial structure, strengthening horizontal industrial linkages, promoting equalization of public services, and enhancing ecological coordination are proposed to facilitate the high-quality integrated development of new urbanization and rural revitalization in Jilin Province.
