Abstract: Based on TOPSIS model and taking Qinzhou District of Tianshui City as the research area,this paper selected four indicators related to the suitability of rural tourism,including tourism economic benefit,tourism resources,public service facilities and infrastructure construction.By collecting relevant data and determining the weights of indicators,an evaluation index system for the suitability of rural tourism was established.The suitability of rural tourism in this region is evaluated.The results show that the overall suitability of rural tourism resources in Qinzhou District is general,and the spatial difference is large.The development level of villages and towns near urban areas is better,while those far from urban areas are worse.Natural landscape and cultural heritage are its most attractive features,while infrastructure construction and public service facilities need to be improved and perfected.
